This thesis centres around the idea of rediscovering what is lost.A thriving birthplace of a city altered in the name of progress, which lost its reason underground, buried and forgotten.In reverence to the natural beginnings of the city of Glasgow and to the Burn that guided it,I have tried to disentomb the community of Trongate and restore its riparian renown.A project which aims to engage members of a community and create a space to celebrate and immerse them into a unique story, the genesis of Glaschu.
